Every Day is Earth Day.

Kevin Day has photographed the same dead tree in a park in Berkshire, England for 5 years. Although the tree hasn’t changed much, the seasons and weather and lighting conditions have changed a remarkable amount. You can see the rest of his images here.

Yosemite HD (by Project Yosemite) is a beautiful time-lapse video of one of America’s treasures.
Pakayla Biehn takes photorealistic painting to a whole new level in her series Double Exposure.
About the project:
Building upon the double exposure theme of her previous works, Pakayla uses oil paint on canvas to present dream-like transfiguration of the natural world. The skill and refined beauty of her paintings enlists a realist style that recalls the delicacy, formality, and craftsmanship of old master techniques. She combines the cultivation of the portrait with a very intimate and vibrant observation of nature.

This is the sunset as seen from Hong Kong Island. It was shot with a Nikon F3HP and Velvia 50 film.
I love to travel with my camera capturing moments, light, nature, and architecture. I have been shooting more exclusively with film ever since I lost my digital camera 2 years ago. Most of my earlier photos have been shot with a Nikon F3HP SLR but more recently, I’ve been relying on my quick and portable Olympus XA rangefinder. On my tumblr you will find photos from the cities I’ve traveled to/lived in and the roads in between.
